Version 1.1 of Cod2Doc is out!!! I consider this version almost as the final version of Cod2Doc!! (unless you bring very good new suggestions Cod2Doc is a documentation generator for Blitz Basic (document code, libraries, create help files). Here are the new features of this version: - Option to make the .bb source file accessible from the documentation. - Possibility now to add images to style files (.css): see this in action with the DarkPrince style, done by Nebula. - And the NICEST NEW FEATURE: option to highlight your own functions and access the quick help and your documentation by pressing F1 in the IDE (like any Blitz command!). Now you have no limit to document libraries! - All known bugs of v1.0 corrected. - And of course, all the features of v1.0 are still there! To get it, go on the Cod2Doc web site: repeatuntil.free.fr/cod2doc. Comments and questions are HIGHLY WELCOME!!!

Hi,
I tried Cod2Doc 1.1 and have several suggestions.
When the document generation is finished a browser is launched. I have a firewall and so nothing is displayed in the browser. A setting for disabling this might be useful.
Also, how about having a ftp upload feature inside Cod2Doc? There are a couple of FTP libraries on the blitz code archive that I have used in my own apps to upload stuff on my sites.
Btw, the directory browser seems a little buggy on my pc. It sometimes goes back and forth while using 'parent'.

Hi Nebula, You mean disable the launch of the browser? This is already implemented! You open the general tab, and you uncheck the first option (open index.html when finished). No browser will be called. Here is the screenshot of the general tab: Hmmm, it should be very nice to have this in Cod2Doc, but it seems to me that it's a bit hard to implement. But, by the way, what this thing will upload? New versions of Cod2Doc and of new files?? You mean the main browser (the one to choose the file to document)? Which parent icon do you use: the small icon or the one in the file list?? Maybe it's a question of double click with a too fast time tuning... Could you describe me more precisely the problem?? Anyway, thanks for your quick reaction to test Cod2Doc!!

I mean that if cod2doc could upload the generated htmlfiles to a ftpspace. though it might be a bit hard with a lot of processed directories.
The problem I had was indeed the double click. When it is clicked twice fast it works ok.
Thanks for the pointer to the index.html setting.
