Hi everyone!
I've been quite for some time, entering the whinking box. Based on the feedback I've received I realized I had done some errors in the design of the code generator early on. The decision I made was that I had to rewrite the generator. This is well under way and progressing nicly, but slower than first time, because I'm trying to incorporate everything correctly this time. Will I be successfull? I hope so. And then there are the RuntimeLibraries. I'm rethinking the strategy regarding them. I'll come back later with my conclusion. Please hang on. This is a hugh project, and I'm one man, one coder, and I have a day time job aswell... (as a java coder). But I'll not let you down. (Suggestions and advice are very appreciated! paulrene (at) pilen dot 33 dot org)

Just a quick update at the end of the weekend.
I have rewritten the base compiler to use 2 passes, now allowing predicting types more easily. This allows placing function and array declarations whereever you want in your source. Better type-casting is also in, and I'm working on automatic type conversion in expressions. A lot of experimenting is needed to do this perfect, so please have patience with me.
I've also registered blitzbasic.com, so soon you'll have to update your bookmarks.
C'ya soon!
