I presume the barrels etc are capsules? How are they held upright before being shot at? Is a capsule the best method?
As well as lovely physics, that demo has very nice dynamic shadows.

I have experimented with cylindercreation by using boxes.
I behaves almost like a real cylinder, for example like when dropping a coin and it starts to wobble before it lays flat.
I simply use several boxes rotated around it's center and the number of boxes defines how many sides the cylinder will have. Kind of like how old wooden barrels was made in the past. 12 Boxes will produce a cylinder with 24 sides as the boxes are extended to cover two sides of the cylinder.

I'm extremly supportive of say, a .bb function collection for further interface with tokamak - this would be a really good one. Sweenie - is your cylinder just boxes? I think this would actually work really well. [edit]Infact, can you post up your code (proferably in function form). I'm too tired plus it would be recoding somthing allready done. We might consider mixing it with the cylinder prim. to get proper rolling. |

This is a bit off topic, but how did you do the shadow system? I know if I do my own it will use a wireframe render of a 3d model and a flood fill thing (I'm temporarily obsessed with flood fill).
By the way, you probably know, but sometimes the barrels fall over at startup.

Well, for one thing, I didn't make it. However, I know that it uses sswift's shadow sysem. You can run a demo (although this is a pretty good demo of it), and buy it from him if you like. I don't know what the barrels falling over at the start is about.
