Hi mike, Font candy exits with 'user lib not' found. Copied the libs directory into the current directory with the exe and still no joy. What user lib is missing?
Thanks in advance.

- When exiting Font Candy? Are you really sure with this..?
- What version of Font Candy do you use, the demo or the version included with Sprite Candy?
- What Blitz version do you use?
- What OS do you use? Is Service Pack 2 installed on your machine?

Yes i'm sure. The program loads then puts up a dialog box with "user lib not found".After clicking ok,the program exits. I'm using font candy v1.0.5 that came with sprite candy. Blitz3d v 1.88 Windows ME.
Cheers Mike.

Seems to be a compatibility issue between Windows ME and the usage of external libraries with Blitz.
Could you send me your email address (the one you registered with)? I'll try to compile a new version for you then -but I can't promise for sure that it will work.
That's why I always suggest to try the demo versions before. But I'll see what I can do, ok?

It's hard to find someone running ME these days...
Could you please try to copy the two dlls (enumfonts.dll and freeimage.dll) from \lib to your windows system dir (should be win\system for ME, right?).

Hi Jake, Made no difference.I've already been in contact with Mike and it seems the enumfonts.dll has a problem with windows ME. I've downloaded and installed the new image packer prog and it works fine so freeimage.dll is not the problem.
Thanks.

I'll try to change Font Candy so that it will run without using the enumfonts.dll - but this won't be as comfortable as it is now since you won't be able to easily pick a font from the list then.
