- load multiple images - choose column count --> result : animstrip block
Some modeler (3DSMAX ... ) generates animstrip as multiple images that's why this feature would usefull.

I added this to the list, but with lower priority since I am not sure yet if this is a frequently needed feature. You could also use the image packer to place the images onto a single texture -but sure, you would save some time and the workflow would be faster, I agree. On the other side, you won't be able to place any other images on that texture - and this would also result in wasting more or less texture memory, of course.
